Wakeboarding and Waterskiing on the Teign

South Devon Ski Club founded in 1990 originally started as purely a water-skiing club which has now evolved to include wakeboarders too.​

We are a non-profit club, owned and run by the members for the benefit of the members.​ The jump is also owned by the club for riders who want to develop or perfect their obstacle riding skills.

Located on the river Teign next to Coombe Cellars (a water-side restaurant with a friendly atmosphere).

Why Join?

The speed limit to use the river is 6 Knots for all boats, unless you are a member of the ski club and are towing. South Devon Water Ski club members are permitted by the local authorities to use the river within the allocated ski area for skiing, wakeboarding, or inflatable towing.

Becoming a member allows you to use the river and to exceed the 6-knot limit while towing, the club provides third-party liability insurance for club members and the club encourages members to take part in running the club and maintaining the river and ski areas.
